Full Day Cruise to Tilos Island (Sunday, Wednesday)

Tilos – is famous as the first island in the world to achieve ZERO waste to landfill. With nineteen beaches, twelve mountains with gushing natural springs, seven medieval castles, a Byzantine monastery, two hundred churches, a cave full of natural discoveries, a village that is a declared cultural monument, over a hundred bird species, hundreds of flora species and few hundred residents is a fantastic destination for an alternative tourism. Maintaining the physiognomy of the past, Tilos gives us the opportunity to rediscover Greece of times past. Tilos is a small and tranquil island that is only 1 ½ hour by boat from Rhodes Island Kamiros Skala Port. With no airport, no big hotels, no noisy bars or clubs offer a very relaxing and romantic destination. In our daily trip arriving at Livadia Village we will board on the island bus for visit the most interesting sights of the island: the abandoned village of Mikro Horio, the Dwarf Elephant’s Museum, Megalo Chorio(Capital of Tilos) and Archaeological Museum driving across beautiful beaches and very impressive landscapes we arrive at the Monastery of Áyios Pandeleímon, (also the islands patron saint), sits on the slopes of Mount Profítis Ilías(654 m). The monastery features fresh cold - water springs as well as an enormous loquat tree. After finishing our visit to the Monastery, we board on the bus for drive back to Livadia Port where we will have free time for lunch to the small Greek tavernas of the Island on the beach famous for the Sea Food, for shopping, swimming and relaxing time till the time to board on the ship for return back to Rhodes.

  • Bus transfer from your hotel to the Kamiros Scala Harbour.

  • Departure time is at 08:30

  • On arrival, meet with an escort who will give you all the details for your trip to Tilos Island, the stops and tips to organize the day ahead.

  • About 10:00 arrives at Port of Livadia on the east side of Tilos which is the main entry point for most visitors.

  • 10:15 – 12:30 Island Tour of Tilos. Departure from Livadia Village by bus we visit Micro Chorio for Photo Stop – Megalo Chorio &

  • Nekropolis, Tilos Museum containing the excavations from Charkadio cave. Departing from Megalo Chorio in few minutes we

  • arrive and visit the Dwarf Elephants' Museum. Driving to the North west side of the island we arrive at Monastery of Agios Panteleimon.

  • 12-30 – 16:00 Free time in Livadia Town for shopping, coffee -launch, swimming time.

  • Boat departure is scheduled for 16:00 – 17:45 Arrival to Rhodes Kamiros Scala Harbour.

  • Upon arrival to Rhodes, return transfer by coach to hotels
