Weddings in Kalithea Spa, Agia Sofia (St. Sofia) and Agios Apostolos (St. Paul) will allow you to sign your official marriage license after the wedding ceremony.

 

All weddings in Lindos, Pefkos, Filerimos, Ixia and Rhodes Town Hall request that you go to the relevant town hall to sign, and you will be given an appointment on the wedding day to when you have to do this, it can be up to three days after your wedding.

 

In the event that your wedding ceremony was held on a Friday you will go on Monday morning.

You will be accompanied by one of our wedding planners for this, so the appointment can go as smoothly as possible.

 

You will also require two witnesses, who must be the minimum age of 13. We will then organize the translation and legalization of the certificate which will then be posted recorded delivery to you, usually by DHL.

Civil Ceremony

Getting married in Greece with a civil ceremony, involves some documents and requirements depending on the nationality and other conditions. For the execution of your wedding, it is mandatory to present the following documents:

  1. A complete birth certificate

  2. A wedding permit

  3. Non impediment certificate

  4. Colored copies of ID and passport

  5. Divorce certificate or death certificate if applicable
